Naperville Ribfest kicks off this Friday, July 1, 2011 and runs through Monday, July 4, 2011. Daily hours are 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Ribfest is put on by the Exchange Club of Naperville to raise funds to help fight child abuse, domestic violence and to strengthen families in our local communities. Veterans of this annual 4th of July weekend fest know that parking is always a challenge. Remote parking and shuttle services are available throughout Naperville and are probably your best bet. So here are the particulars to help you get to and from:

• Accessible Parking – Primary lot for accessible parking will be All Saints Academy on Aurora Ave. between River Rd and West St. Shuttle service will take you to the drop off at Martin Ave. & West St. There is also an Accessible Drop Off location area located on the East side of West street, at the northeast corner of West Street and Martin Avenue. This drop-off location will be available on all days of the event except July 4. [download id="35"]
• Remote Parking and Shuttle Locations:
  • Free public shuttles serving Ribfest run to and from several remote parking locations throughout Naperville. Shuttles run continuously on all days from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. from these locations:
    • Cowlishaw Elementary School
    • Naperville Metra Station – Burlington Lot
    • Naperville North High School
    • Neuqua Valley High School
    • North Central College
  • On July 4th, the remote parking and shuttle locations are as follows:
    • Route 59 Train Station
    • Thayer Jr. High School
    • Jefferson Jr. High School
    • Naperville Metra Station – Kroehler Lot
    • Prairie Elementary School
    • Naperville Plaza
    • Lincoln Jr. High School
    • Fox Run Square Plaza
    • Maplebrook Elementary School
    • Scott Elementary School
    • Madison Jr. High School
    • 95th Street Park-n-Ride

  • PARKING AT EDWARD HOSPITAL IS NOT ALLOWED. YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED.

  So go, enjoy and remember it does get crowded and on days with big music draws the entrances have been closed due to capacity issues. Bring your blankets and chairs (but not your coolers), and enjoy the food and all-star music lineup.
